It's the homie CHARLIE LUTHERGATES!! A little somethin somethin from the deserts of southern CALIFORNIA. Charlie Luthergates AKA DJ Vanray hails from Indio, CA the greater Palm Springs area. He has been Djing since 02', producing hip hop beats since 06' and house Music for about 5 months. Having a hip hop background he considers his house style to be ELECTROHOP.
This cat has opened up for some great hip-hop artist such as Dilated Peoples, Murs, Planet Asia, Guru of Gangstar, Grouch and Eligh, Del the funky Homosapian, 2mex, Mystic Journeymen and People under the stairs. He has also opened for some drum and bass acts like
Hive, Dj Curious, R.A.W, Hazen, and Dirty Deeds.
He rolls with a group of HipHop heads by the name of WEST SERVICE MUSIC coming outta INDIO supporting the local hip hop scene as well. An excellent combination of music genres that goes to show the greatness of this pliable electro/remix world!
