2009!

The NEW YEAR IS HERE!! It has been a crazy one for all of us RAWKERZ, introductions to people, to new music, to art, to an ever-growing passion. It has been days of no sleep, to deep party slumbers. It has been in depth talks amongst friends, to destructive drug induced behavior lead by the god Dionysus himself, all of us indulged in a sort of mass hysteria and intoxication. It has been argumentative gatherings, to a love powered mass RAWKERZ huddle. By any means a monumental year on our behalf, one for the books, one to appreciate each others uniqueness, one to look back and say, "We fucking rule!!". There is no one or anything that can take it away! To a new and upcoming year, may all you fuckerz out there have a great, super fucking fantastic, and HAPPY NEW YEAR! FUCK RESOLUTIONS!! The American Dream Team   is on the frontier of audio-visual sets reaching the masses. Born in Brooklyn, NY, TADT brings electro, house, and hip-hop to the crowd mixing turntablism with mind-altering visuals. Two of the fellow RAWKERZ, myself and Star 27, had the privilege to meet the the Brooklyn based duo Code- D and Dan Savage with the help of our Ultra Mega Computer Technician/ Space invading/ Hard drive humping MASTERMIND "G4!!", while the head of RAWKERZ, DJ Johnny Rox spun at the Griffin in Las Vegas. Let me tell you, these guys can drink, cut a rug, and talk massive mad classy game with the lady folk. Check these east coast madmen out. Hot tracks and hypnotizing visuals.

DAZE OF THUNDER (Phoenix,AZ) is the project of PARTY FOUL dj Kevin M.O.B. and dj Frank The Rabbit. All I have to say is I can't wait to hear these guys play live. I've seen Kevin play three times already and he is dope! and from listening to these two tracks he sent me, I know him and his partner will definitely kill it. I first listened to the WuTang Clan remix but now I can't stop listening to the Rave Is King remix. There has been a lot of remixes on that track but this one is nothing like the rest. FEEL THE FUCKING NOISE IN HERE!

It's fucking Feel The Noise! Okay, so this past weekend I got to hang out with my amigo Saul Q from Feel The Noise and SQZMYLMNS, and he gave me this Mix CD containing two 30 minute or so trax, I just can't stop listening to it, I've had it all week long in my car. I will be attending KLEVER (World Champion Turntablist) later on today @ PARTY fucking FOUL, and I will be giving away some of Feel The Noise's cd's and some of my shitty stickers!

COAL STAIRS

Here we have COAL STAIRS, Jon and Lucas from Montpellier, South France. Influenced by the street, hip hop, and graffiti, these fellows have been making music from hip hop to experimental electro since 2000. They are currently working on their first EP and have given me the pleasure of sending me one of their trax titled "Constante de Planck", which will be available to download soon, but for now go listen on their myspace page. These guys implement video to their live sets creating a retro-futuristic environment for their guests. For now they have been playing around France but soon hope to roam around the world and spread some future jive.

Monorail Riders

Monorail Riders are Cleveland-based cosmic dj set and an up and coming blog.
