Truth is I am a GEEK, and looking at those product photos is like looking at Pr0n. The new feautures don't suprise me, mainly because Pioneer likes to wait for other makers to experiment with new features, and then perfects them and calls them their own. I know a few peeps who are drooling over the new decks, and they might go camp outside Guitar Center on launch day. I'm also not an early adopter. I've done my experimenting over the years and have decided to go for STABILITY, and not for HOT NEW GEAR. I can bet that as soon as these come out DJ's will start complaining about bugs. I don't want to spend $5k and be stuck with buggy gear that will fail in front of a crowd.
I'm kind of leaning towards the 900, but the screen on the 2000 is beautiful. I currently own a pair of CDJ-800MK2's, so i'm in no rush for an upgrade. I am a Scratch Live DJ. I don't need all the fancy features those new players have, since they come free with Scratch Live.
You stay classy San Diego,
